Vallarta's malecón is evidence of a very lively and active artist community. More than 30 galleries are established here, thanks to PV's international recognition as an important art outlet. Puerto Vallarta's Art Walk season begins in October and ends in April. The Art Walk season is a time to go from gallery to gallery enjoying the lastest art offerings with free wine and canapes.
